One lone restaurant in Centralia, Washington introduced Grammy to Chinese FOOd in the 1940s.  Allie Mae loved BBQ Pork as a teenager.  Who knew a teenager’s hangout would lead to a lifetime pursuits of classic Chinese recipes.  Many thanks to classes taught by Chef Chu and Martin Yan in the San Francisco Bay Area.
